"Hezbollah" or "The Hezbollah"?

I have heard/read people say "Hezbollah so and so..."
but I also have heard people say "The Hezbollah so and so..."
while I hear "Hezbollah" more than the variant with "The" infront, those that use "The" seem to be in a more knowdlegable position (Diplomats, politicians, an officer of the IDF)
so wich one is it?
From my understaing, Hezbollah means "Party of God", so putting a "The" infront makes sense to me
if anyone could shed any light on this

I would have assumed that one. (with a 'h' at the end), which the one I always use.
I prefer to call them the "communist nazi muslim hippies".

"Hezbollah" is a generalization of people who belong to the organization. "The Hezbollah" is a the orgranization that is made up of the people who belong to it.
