How many of you watch BBC America and what do you think of it?I asked a friend of mine the same question, and he said BBC America was just as shitty of a news program as CNN America, and all the others.

Indeed.

I do not unquestioningly worship the BBC, as many seem to think I should. It has as much bias and crap as some other news organizations.

To their credit, they are the only news organization on the ground in Afghanistan that has a reporter embedded with the Taliban. But that's it.

Never even heard of it before now. How do you find it? Is it on cable?

I watch BBC America occasionally. I also flip over to news from France and Asia.
Good to have other perspectives.

I watch BBC news, because I find it less biased and less sensationalistic than any of our news progams. I also watch BBC America for Monty Python and Benny Hill reruns.

They show Benny Hill repeats on BBCAmerica? They won't even show that on the BBC or ITV here in Britain.

When I watched the BBC in the UK, it didn't seem any better than Sky News. In fact, for local UK news, Sky News seemed better.

I too occasionally watch Benny Hill, I still can't help laughing or at least smiling. As I get older, I've begun to realize he's who I want to be when I grow up.

Then there's the new to me show Hex. Rarwrrr. Thursdays at 10pm!

Meh, I just use the thingie that came with Firefox. I think it's called RSS feed or something.

Anyway, I like the BBC's worldwide coverage of news, just gets annoying when I have to find somewhere else to get information on what's happening in the U.S. So I head on over to CNN...

I don't get the BBC channel anyway. Heh

It's so much better than the crap fed to us here. Really, everything outside the US is better. I'm thinking of moving but I can't decide where (haven't studied French since high school, which was a loooong time ago).

:p

How many of you watch BBC America and what do you think of it?

I don't currently have it, but when I did I enjoyed watching it pretty often. There are several British televison shows I enjoy. Fawlty Towers, Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Thin Blue Line, Blackadder, Red Dwarf. The few episodes of Little Britain I saw were amusing. I didn't see all of those on BBC America, I've caught them elsewhere. But I do like BBC America.
