ok, this will be brief (largely due to the insane french keyboard!) but Amy and I just wanted to say hi to y'all while we had internet access :)

things here are great... sunny and hot, great food, fancy hotel, and we're just really enjoying having some real time together :fluffle: (and some other types of time together too ;) )

we'll post more (pics probably) when we're back on tuesday :)

Sunny and hot it is. C'est la canicule. There is a level 3 (out of 4) alert in 20 départements. This means around 35°C during the day and above 20°C at night.

As far as ball speculation; Though my twig is nothing special, my giggleberries are of impressive size. Unusually so. It has been speculated by some that this is due to the many traumas they have experienced. Yet it has been theorized by some(including my wife) that the opposite is true; That they get hit a lot because they are such easy targets.

Hellooooooooooooooo...... *got back last night, and is still all tired* but, was a wonderful wonderful holiday :D :fluffle:
i'm too sleepy right now to talk of much, but i'm writing up an account of it all for a blog you can all read if you so desire, and huw has all the pics that he'll post at some time i'm sure :)

for a brief outline of the holiday though.....
we left on friday morning, got the ferry, and drove down to Tours where we watched the Bastilles celebration fireworks on the bridge around 11 which was an amazing display. Went back to the hotel and Huw got leg massages for his cramps.... must have looked very bizarre, using my elbow... :P
The next day (saturday), we drove down to Bordeaux, with a stop-off at Bourg where there was much prettiness (and hotness!) and an amazingly cute kitty, hehe, looked like it'd jump out of a window, but luckily didnt! When at Bordeaux, in a fancy fancy hotel which was all lovely (and air conditioned!) we had a swim in the pool at sunset (:)) and then went out to Bordeaux to eat in the evening. Gorgeous river in the nighttime with pretty coloured lights reflected in the water.
The next morning (sunday), his parents went out to the market in bordeaux, and i went round to huw's room to... say good morning ;) then we went for a swim in the pool with blue skies and loveliness, had lunch nearby, rested for a bit and then went to the beach. very busy, but was a huge huge beach and we had much fun in the waves :D then that evening, i started feeling kinda bad from heat, so me and huw rested indoors (and huw was all lovely and sweet and caring and looked after me completely :fluffle:) and then went and ate at the fancy hotel restaurant which was a lovely (very expensive but lovely) meal, and i started to feel a bit better *nods*
then on the monday, we had a scrummy breakfast at the hotel, then had a small swim in the pool, then we drove up to St Lo (on the way being taught shithead - yay for new card games!) which was pretty much dead which was weird, and not so great but we all had our own rooms that night, and me and huw found ways to amuse ourselves ;)
then, yesterday, on tuesday, we drove to bayeux where we had lovely meal in a creperie and saw the cathedral which was amazing, and there was much photo taking (throughout the holiday actually). oo, and we'd had macdonalds for breakfast :P
then we got the ferry back from Caen (oo, this is the point I say hurrah for GPS which saved us from much hassle many many times, heh) which was a much better ferry than the one there (ie, no throwing up :P). i was very sleepy and headachey though but the sleepiness manifested in cuteness and much silliness which was fun :P (and huw's capitalist side came out in monoply :P) and getting off the ferry, i was told i'm good for huw in helping him enjoy himself more and in him laughing more so thats wonderful :)

overall, just a wonderful fantastic time together! 5 whole days! and we have my family's holiday, with huw coming the second week, to look forward to as well! :)

oh, and I'd just like to thank everyone who helped descend our thread into sexual spam :p :D (as if a thread about me and huw should become anything less ;) :p )
