Is It Hot Enough For You?

It was over 100F yesterday & today where I live (Colorado, US), hot enough, in fact to move the needle on my oven thermometer when I put it out in the back yard (not in the sun).

Yeah...I live 2 miles from the lake so I know what you mean. I like humidity, though so it doesn't bother me that much. This is great weather for going to the pool and water basketball, so I'll make sure to do plenty of both this week.

Yeah, I live in Sacramento, CA, it has been somewhat oover 100 degrees F for a couple days...supposed to be hotter tomorrow and Tuesday. Although I agree that humidity is terrible at any temperature. Glad I'm not in Louisiana, like my Grandmother.

Bah @ Georgia. They said my town has been the hottest in the state. Something about being in a valley and the wind not blowing down into us. It's gonna be 102 the next 4 days but according to the weather channel it will "feel like" 108-110. Like 90% humidity. Screw this. I'm moving somewhere cold.

It's usually over 100 here most days this time of the year, including this year. It's a pretty dry heat though, thankfully.
It's far too hot and humid for my tastes. I hate summer weather.
The only time being outside is bearable is in the dark.

only about 86-90F (30-32C) here, but apparently Maine has yet to discover airconditioning, so it's actually cooler outside most buildings.
It's supposed to get up to 45C tomorrow.

Best thing one can do is live very near the equatorial line. Then, when summer gets too hot, just go to the other side of it where it will be winter.

Except of course, the winter will also be too hot. Actually, if you do move to near the equator, the summer/winter will not be too hot as it is that temperature all the time. (give or take 5 degrees).
@ UpwardThrust
I know what you mean, but the temperature here (30 degrees South) is supposed to get down to freezing point in the winter. Just this year it seems to have forgotten about that!
