Does time, indeed, heal all wounds?

1.Yes
2.No

This of course comes with the understanding that you won't pull a Plath and say "life is transient, time hurts everything".

I vote yes, because: regardless of whether you are dealing with cancer or not, all emotional pain dims with time. Cancer sometimes even heals over time. Sometimes it kills outright. In my opinion, time is the best medicine out there.

I agree with Rotovia. We need a poll. In any case, time does indeed heal all wounds...or at least makes them go away. I mean, they don't exist when you are dead.

Exactly.

In a trillion years nothing that matters to anyone now will even have the same atomic configuration.

Time heals all wounds, the problem is, it often leaves a scar.

Damn it, Bones, you're a doctor. You know that pain and guilt can't be taken away with a wave of a magic wand. They're the things we carry with us, the things that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. I don't want my pain taken away! I need my pain!
Although the obviously pearls come from the granulation and agitation, not all the shifts of soul are beautiful, some of the most important and even good things come from having an anchor in pain.

Hey, save that! It might look good on a necklace or an engagement ring!

This is the perfect example of "awesome".

No, time doesn't heal all wounds. More often than not, time only causes them to fester and become infected. You're dying as soon as you're done maturing into adulthood - time is the measurement of how long it takes for something to happen. When applied to life, it's how long it takes for you to die.

Dude. Technically you're dieing as soon as you're conceived. Every second is one step closer to death.

Do you have any idea how much it would cost to get all that engraved on anything? No way would I ever spend that much cash on something so vomit inducing.

No, your body is not dying in a metaphysical sense. That is purely a philosophical and rather depressing concept. In truth, until you have passed your height of reproductive capability (early to mid twenties for men and late twenties to mid thirties for women), you are maturing and not yet dying.

I once pulled a triple Plath at the depression olympics.

Honestly, if I ever said, wrote or had someone else write anything as corny as that, my next words would be, kill me now, please.

Uh, Metaphysics?
Spirituality is just something they tell little kids and rednecks to keep them from questioning authority.
Life is depressing. Deal with it.

Well we both know you obviously never took the risk, don't we ... your charisma would've sealed the deal :p
