Well, I think those kidnapped soldiers should be returned to Israel unharmed. and the shelling/suicide bombing on both sides made illegal.

Uh...what? Rewrite history all you want. The Palestinians were offered a state. They chose to bow to neighboring Arab nations who offered them sanctuary while they cleansed Israel from the map. Now the rest of teh world gets to revel in the "he started it" between two childish nations of people, most of whom would rather live in peace than support either echelon of leaders who'd rather murder one another.

If you knew about the situation, you'd realize that the kidnapped soldiers were just the catalyst that rapidly increased the rate of reaction. This situation has been simmering for quite some time with Hezbollah firing rockets into the Israeli north for ages.
