\This could be debatable, but if your not white, but has naturally brown hair (muticulored, I have mostly dark brown hair, but plenty of reddish brown, light brown to almost blondish hair) does that still count as brunette? Cause when I try googling it, it's messed up and images shows only white brunettes. \

Um... such an odd question. Well... brunette refers to someone who has dark hair - brown or black. Also, brunette specifically refers to a female with dark hair. Use brunet if you're looking for a male with dark hair.

You're probably only finding pictures of white 'brunettes' because the majority of products (and services if you want to be cynical) would be directed at middle class white, whom companies presume would be feel more comfortable if the picture was of their own skin tone. I'm suspecting that L'Oreal sells most of it's products to middle aged, white, female thirty-somethings.

That doesn't seem far off.

That and I think they do it because it shows the colour as they perceive it.

Yes, I think you still qualify as a brunette. So what ethnicity are you, just out of curiosity?

This question is too specific for a general forum.

Random fact; the youngest couple to have a child were a 6 year old and a 7 year old. Ew.
And they're just using common marketing techniques. The target people are white females.

Middle age comes so early these days... ;)My age classification goes something like this.

0-10 - child (incohherrent babbling age)
10-19 - teenager (need I say more)
20-29 - young (immature) adult
30-39 - mid-life crisis age
40-49 - trophy-partner seeking age
50-59 - paranoia about younger people age (paranoia can sometimes be justified [mostly])
60-69 - possibility of wisdom age (~0.0001% chance of wisdom per person)
70-79 - cranky age or in-my-day-age (similar to teenager)
80+ - senile (see child)

No, it doesn't qualify you as a brunette, because you are out of the "american standards". Myself, for example, I cannot be labeled under any of the categories they usually have for people's appearances.

Odd. I call kids up to 12 years old 'children'.
Teenager begins at the 'teens'. Thirteen and so forth.

Ignore them. You're brunette. And in the hair coloring aisle at the pharmacies I have been in (not that I know anything about it, wink wink nudge nudge) there are definitely boxes of brunette dye depicting Asians and persons of color.

You are a brunette.

A possible reason google only had pictures of White girls is because the alternatives to brunette are red-headed or blonde. I cannot think of any Black or Asian women that I know who have naturally blonde hair, although a few who's hair is a bit redish. (This is saying something, as I know a lot of Black and Asian women).
