Ive just heard a public service announcement on TV regarding the unhealthy diets of kids. All well and good.

Until it came to the hook phrase at the end of the piece, that catchy phrase which we are meant to remember.

Here it is.

Childhood Obesity: Dont take it lightly!

In fairness, I'm more likely to remember a really bad pun than just a normal headline...

Absolutely! Some people call it the lowest form of humour, but it is certainly my favourite, and damn what that says about me!

My grandmother has alzheimers. She lives in a retirement home in a ward named "Memory Lane". I seem to be the only one who finds that hilarious!

Now *that's* good copy! I would personally like to give a pat on the back to whomever came up with that. Where did you see this? Did you catch who the PSA was brought to you by? Would love to send them my kudos.

Sheer brilliance! I love it.

That's much more subtle than my slogan.

Obesity: It's a big problem!

It was on broadcast TV (NBC?) about 10 minutes before I made this thread.

Next time I see it I will try to note this and post it.

Heheheh, brilliant. There was a retirement estate built near me a few years ago, and the council almost called the main road of the estate 'St. Peter's Close'. :p

Apparantly there are billboards as well. Sometimes with regrettable placement.

Mine is worse. Childhood Obesity: It Means Really Fat Kids.

You could mix the two slogans:

Childhood obesity: I'm lovin' it.

I'd be very suspicious of retiring to a place like that. :p
