On Adam Carolla's (one of the former hosts of 'The Man Show') radio show, this is hilarious.

Apparently, it's supposed to be supremely hilarious, simply because we despise Ann Coulter. Me, I think it was horribly rude and absolutely unnecessary. It would have been far better to best her in a test of wits and wills, not just cut her off and act as if they've struck a victory, when all they've done is make themselves look like assholes.

Why she was not considerate enough to call into the show to promote her own book and then comes off all bitchy about it.

If she can not manage to be on time nor care enough to apologize for not being able to make a schedule hanging up on her and moving on was about the best thing he could have done .

Mmkay ... here's the problem.

See ... Stephen Colbert lampoons the Right. He does it brilliantly, even though most people know he's more liberal than Jon Stewart.

When Ann Coulter makes a quip about, say, forcing homeless people into labor camps ... she's not trying to be funny. She *actually* believes that tripe.

Being rude, insulting then cutting them off is pretty much how she handles critics wanting to debate her on her views.
So this could be viewed as poetic justice of a sorts.
Of course, now she self-righteously write columns and columns about how the 'left' are extremely childish and can't handle debating. The irnoy and hypocrisy of her comments will, of course, be completely lost on her.

Not so much immaturity and low IQ as a passing interest in politics. Many people take their viewpoints from pundits and mouthpieces like Coulter or Moore and leave it at that because they have other things to be concerned about, like work or the family. If they stopped and examined what they were repeating, they'd probably realize how stupid it sounds, but they simply don't care enough to try.
