I have been informed by my doctor that if I get a cast I can choose the color, answer the poll above and I will get whatever is winning by the time I go to the doctor.

Neon green, totally - with a bit of luck it'll show up at night, and that'd be hot :D

Of course, failing that go with some colour that writing will show up on. Neon green should work for that. And yeah, what d'you need it for?

They have "normal"-ish names, most people don't even realize they are named after Star Trek characters......but the people who make the connection are really cool :cool:

:fluffle: for your injury though... never broken my foot but my dad did a few years back, and i know its a fucking pain getting round and well... doing almost anything (especially if you're not allowed to put weight on it like he was). hope you get better soon :)

Ahh.. I read on and found that there are many other colors you can choose from. Now I can't decide.. Orange or Yellow or Purple? -sigh- It was easier when there were just 4 choices. Baby blue is still a good one tho. If the purple is a dark purple, I'd choose it over the black(for a dark color).. but if it's a pale purple .. it would be between it and the baby blue(for a soft color). And between orange and yellow(for a bright color).

And hope your toe and foot heal up good. :)

Okay so while I was away at the doctor this crazy storm hit and my line from the power pole into my house snapped, so until about 1 hour ago I have been without phone, cable and internet.

Just thought I would give you all an update, after looking at my foot the doctor said a cast is not a good idea, and I should just like not walk for a week or so, elevated, major narcotic pain pills, and everything.

He knew that wasn't going to cut it, so he gave me this weird shoe thing in case I "have to walk" which what my husband says is like if I have to go potty or to the tornado shelter, but meh, I am too busy and besides if I fuck up my foot too bad maybe they will give me a motorized cart, that will make life more fun! (just kidding)

I have been trying to be good, and with the internet out that was a bit easier, but now I have to answer the 3500 emails I got while I was "out" and make a half dozen phone calls to people I don't want to talk to.

Oh, my weird shoe is blue and it cost the insurance company like $500 so yeah, it's really ugly for that much, I mean if I was going to spend $500 a piece on shoes, they better be Jimmy Choos.

Oh, and I can't post for a while unless I rip the laptop out of hubby's hands, thank God for wi-fi :)

Poor Smunkee! My mom needed a boot like that, we still have it around somewhere.

If anyone wants to pick a color of bandage go to your local vet supply shop and look for Vet-wrap in the horse area. It comes in at least two dozen colors. It's stretchable and sticks to itself not to the skin. Just put gauze on the wound and put on vetwrap. Kids love it. They can pick their favorite color.

The regular MD's use the same stuff but only have "skin" color and if you get it at a drug store it costs several times as much.
