Gunmen in the Iraqi capital Baghdad have killed at least 40 people at a fake checkpoint, in an apparent sectarian attack against Sunni Muslims.

Police say Shia militants stopped cars in the western Jihad district, separated Sunnis and shot them.

I'm just waiting to hear somebody say, 'well if they arrive that decision democratically, then it's been a success' - as though four years from now, they might vote in some other style of governance.

I'd be partial to a Jell-o-ocracy, myself. They could bulldoze Baghdad and rebuild it all out of Jell-o. Think of the tourist trade.

Though it would be a failure as regards them adopting the Amerikan way of life if it isnt renamed Baghad-with-cheese....
