Falls 11 stories onto a metal awning, lands on the concrete below and he breaks a leg and his skull. Yet, the kid somehow manages to stay conscious and lucid.

I'd love to sign him up for a football team, this kid would never be out on injury.

And we could convince North Korea to NOT launch their Taepodong-2 missile and convince IRAN to ditch their nuclear program and we can make WORLD PEACE!!!!

Well, I'm ansonished. A possible explaination is that, when children are young, their bones a somewhat flexible from not entirely developing. This allows them to withstand injuries of this kind better. Other then that, I'm at a loss to explain this miracle.

Less in the way of bone splintering, also lower mass, lower force of impact. Children have previously been the sole survivors of car accidents and air crashes. It's not really a miracle - there is a chance a kid will survive a broken fall of that sort - there is virtually no chance an adult will.

The fact that the fall was broken is also key - many adult suicide attempts or accidental falls have been survivable because rocky outcrops, tree branches or car roofs have absorbed much of the impact.

That's true. Same reason ants can survivie great falls, lower mass, and lower force of impact.
