Please take a quick look at this anti-evolution website (http://www2.antievolution.org/cs/). You'll notice that there' a small blurred out picture in the center at the top.

Now take a look at this picture (http://www.hotboxdesigns.com/Cthulhu.html).

A coincidence? I think not.

Maybe those guys aren't so bad after all. I mean Cthulhu worshippers are kinda cool, somehow. :)

Creationism is bullshit. Don't insult the memory of Lovecraft by comparing his great works of fiction with that lunacy religious nutjobs try to pass as "science"

At least Lovecraft wasn't crazy enough to think the works of his imagination were the absolute truth of reality.

Did you read the articles on that site? Surprisingly cunning, its not an Anti-Evolution website, its a website about the anti-evolution movement and analyzing what makes it tick.

I mean, an article asking whether IDers are required to lie once a day or more? Does that even sound like something an IDer would ask?

Cthulhu doesn't go in for destroying civilization through stealthy corruption, the rise of fascist overorder, etc. the way the religious reich is trying to send us back to the Dark Ages - he just destroys shit. If anything, he goes for the opposite way as far as influencing civilization goes; "...teaching man new ways to kill and new ways to enjoy himself." He-Whose-Name-Must-Not-Be-Spoken-Or-Even-Written-Just-To-Be-Safe
is the one you're looking for.

I noticed that just looking at the first two articles - they don't actually appear to be supporting ID.
