It's on now. Pretty good, IMO. Robin Williams does a good dramatic character, and the story is interesting. But when you think about the concept as a whole, it sounds pretty funny. "Hello, ma'am? I've got some bad news for you. You're being stalked by the guy from the Fotomat."

I think it is a perfect example of the wrong guy being blamed.
Robin Williams was doing a service to the community by 'abducting' the adulterous *descriptive words*...

I remember being disapointed with the movie and having specific criticisms, but its been too long since I've seen it, so now all I remember is wanting to like it and not.

... I disagree.
In this case you shouldn't.

I've seen it. It's not a bad movie, but Robin Williams really shits me, so I found it quite hard to watch.
I'm only aware of its existence because it makes a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Couldn't really get into it - switched it off half way through

Nope. I'm still mad at Robin for TOYS.
Not only was it a terrible movie but it totally wasted Robin Wright (whom you may recall as Jenny from "Forest Gump" or as "The Princess Bride") as a "love interest". :(
The only thing she got to do was a dolphin impression and throw her bra (over the shoulder) on top of the spybot...

Likewise, I am only aware of it's existence because I walked past the television tonight and heared Neon Genesis Evangelion being pronouced wrong.

I didn't like it. Neither that nor 'Insomnia'. Robin Williams can't do pyscho, imo.
The premise to 'One hour photo' was good, but it just somehow lost it's way about 1/3 of the way thru. Williams wasn't creepy enough, there weren't enough disturbing scenes and the ending was pretty lame.
The only scene I liked was when he 'broke' into their house, and wandered around like he owned the place. The bit where he took a dump was great I felt, as it was a total invasion of privacy.
Then they had to ruin the whole creepy home invasion by making it all just a day-dream on Williams part. Why do that?
What could have been a really good psychological thriller just turned out kinda lame in the end.

It's impossibly creepy.
