The man's current world record is 53 and a 3/4 hot dogs in 12 minutes. Not paper, it can sound pretty ordinary, but when you think about it, it's incredible. It takes me half an hour to eat ONE hot dog.

Yep. Being fat actually makes it harder to eat lots fast; the fat belt stops your stomach from expanding. These Japanese guys train hard, gaining lots of weight, and then losing it quickly. Make them more... stretchy.

There is just something WRONG with this post that I won't touch with a ten foot pole.
The greatest athlete of our time? I doubt that; he just has an absurdly large stomach. Still, that his gut didn't burst despite such insane gorging is impressive.
