Lincoln and Jefferson were deists if I remember correctly.

The denial of dogmatic christianity is not a rejection of God or religion.

Lincoln and Jefferson were deists if I remember correctly.

The denial of dogmatic christianity is not a rejection of God or religion.

He never seemed to take any interest in any other religion. He did use references of God a lot, it's really hard to say. I think he was somewhere between a deist and an agnostic. And yes, under some definitions of agnosticism, being a deist fits in.
