I tried to create Sissymas to replace Christmas a while ago. It was based on the real life and works of Sissy Spacek. Nobody else appreciated what I thought to be a brilliant idea.

Well, it's basically glorifying a Hollywoodite in the mold of the whole Chuck Norris debacle, and that gets old in a heartbeat. It may have been brilliant, but it was essentially derivative.

There were a couple of threads i did that kinda crashed.
The one that crashed the quickest was the one involving Cheney and Rumsfeld and their relationship to the MK-ULTRA project.
Honourable mention to one other, though - the U.S. churches that celebrated Darwin's Birthday.

Needs more cowbell, i think.
Replace "cowbell" with "sex in varying forms", and i'm pretty sure it'll stick around a while.
To be fair, a few posters provided quite a bit towards the endeavour of that particular thread.
