I had a pretty lousy 4th of July. Fever, vertigo, muscle aches, sinus headache. As a result I spent the day alternating between TV and bed. The one good point was that I saw a commercial for Snakes on a Plane. They really are going to release that thing!

I must say, I sorta agree with you. Sammy's seems to be going the way of a lot of great actors (eg. Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino), where he's just playing the same old 'Samuel Jackson Bad Mutha' role in each movie.
I hope not, but it does look that way. I suppose we can't blame him, he's getting paid a fortune to reprise the role he made his own. Money for old rope to him, no doubt.

"Snakes on a Plane" was only a working title, they planned on chaning it to "Flight 287" or something equally stupid; but Sam threatened to quit unless they stuck with the original title, so they kept it. :p

A friend showed that Titanic 2 trailer to his mum. She believed they really were making a new one...and told all her friends. Eventually my friend told her it was fake, and she had to go round apologising to all her friends.
