Considering the rate at which freedoms are being taken away, this is more appropriate. (http://paavola.ca/images/20050129%20bald%20eagle%20-%20caged.jpg)

That BE was in california, next to Dianne Fineswine's office. Of course they had to cage him, He'd tear the everloving soul out of that poor old hag.

Surely the white head takes away from its appeal. Now this (http://www.nationalpark-berchtesgaden.de/html/adler/ad0.jpg) is a proper eagle. It's even got the "I can see in the future, and I see great things"-look in its eyes. ;)

America hating liberal commie! The Bald Eagle is the only Eagle worth looking at twice! All of the other Eagles wish they could be strong like the Bald Eagle!

But they can't! Because God blesses the Bald Eagle just like He blesses America!

Now go eat some babies, you evil terrorist.

All things considered for the past 230 years, I still think Ben Franklin's idea of what the national symbol should have been is right.

The wild American turkey... you got to admit that it fits. :D

I believe the Turkey is more delicious than the Eagle by several orders of magnitude.

wow, that is unfortunately appropriate...all the flag wavers should take heed..and not fall prey to the jingoistic scum on both sides of the political divide.
american politics is a bad marriage at best anymore.....neither side listening and both sides hurling insults:-(

maybe there is a third party that can be the kid in this dysfunctional marriage and say enough allready!

one can hope?

thanks for the picks dm...i am getting an eagle tattoo next weekend from a freedom loving girl that i love...and i hope it is not only symbolic of times past.

come on kids...step up to the plate, and quit hurling insults...thats my advice to my kids, well the one that aint in bootcamp.

we can get this country back on track, and dont think it is dem's or repub's....it is you!

my paltry 2 cents...alas..i got beat down, now it is up to the kids...put down the nintendo and twinkie..give a shit about your kids to come...

Sure is a pretty bird, but it just doesn't have the look on it fit for my country's bird.

Homeless people eat those things. Easy to catch them, throw some bread down, hide, get a big rock and launch it at them when they are on the bread. Maybe get 2 or 3 that way...

We should've listend to Ben Franklin.

Waving a flag isn't patriotic, fighting for your rights in the US is.
