Not much is know, but one thing is for sure..It's gonna suck! Let this franchise die and start something new!
Not likely. The Devils rejects was a class piece of work, offending the more sensitive on a number of levels. Plus it was feckin hilarious....

This is halloween. I doubt it will be even close to the others, on top of that there isn't much if anything that can be added to it at this point.

Ugh...I wish Hollywood would start thinking of original ideas again...
There is no justifiable reason to remake Halloween, other than to make money.

Wishful thinking. It was always about money, but these days its about MONEY. Its worked out on a spread sheet how much the name "Halloween" will draw in, plus 'nekkid chick", and the variable "well known chick gets semi-nekkid" (double the 'nekkid chick effect), "hot dude" etc and so on. The best you can hope for with a movie is that they reckon it could do well in a niche market, give somebody a relatively small amount of money and let him do his thing. The more money behind it, the more they use the spread sheet, the more they control the content. Depressing, but true.

I dont like Zombies music much, but House of 1000 corpses was good, and Devil's Rejects kicked ass.
If your a horror movie fan, you must admit, Devils Rejects was good.
Bill Mosely was fekkin awesome as Otis, and really became a gripping psychotic. (The hotel scene anyone?)
So, suffice it to say I am eager to see Zombie's next movie.
However, that being said, Im FUCKING TIRED OF ALL THESE REMAKES!
Has Hollywood become so empty of ideas, and writers with original thoughts that it can no longer produce new movies?
Some have been good, and some havent.
The point is, these films were great, 20 or 30 years ago, and the occasional remake is to be expected, but this is fucking rediculous, and needs to stop.
Whats worse than the remakes everywhere, are the continuing additions to serials.
The upcoming Rocky movie.
Jesus christ, stallone is a hundred years old, whos he gonna fight?
Mr T?
They can slug it out for extra pudding at dinner.
Indiana Jones?
Harrison Ford is like 60.
The only archeoligical adventures Indy should be having is finding hip replacement.
Batman Begins however, kicked ass.
Apparently, the Superman one isnt bad, either.
(Still think Kevin Smith should have done it.)
New Friday the 13th remake coming or so I hear....
Hollywood sucks monkeys.

See, thats what it was intended to be.
It really was an homage to all those great slasher films of the 60's and 70's.
Really, except for a bit here and there, the first one was nearly bloodless, but it kept your attention the whole way through, and you had no doubt that it was a horror movie, even if it had some humor with some killing.
The second one, however, was great.
More character development, much more blood, better plot, some truly gruesome scenes, and even a couple of extremely intense dramatic scenes where you just cant help but cringe.

Actually hes 65. Born 13 July 1942. Sitting on his porch (or "deck, as the Amerikaners call it), shooting his air gun, is where he should be.

I doubt it can get any worse than the reality show Halloween movie...
