I do. You still can't see anything.

I find it ridiculous that there are parts of Washington left blurry. I mean really, it's not like it's anything we've never seen before, or couldn't find on a 'real' map.

I was pleasently surprised at the resolution for my haunts, though. I was able to pick out my old house.

Area 51 comes up, and it isn't blurred. Nothing interesting, unfortunately. I can see my house and where I used to work. Anyone else feel motion when they zoom in?

I'm sure if there was an "Area 51", it'd be mysterously blurred.
My favorite spot to look at is Dysney Land! The resolution for The British Virgin Isles is terrible unfortunatly.:(

Type area 51 into the search bar and it goes straigt there. I've tried it.

You can "Add a placemark" and then "save as", or if you prefer you can "Save image" or ctrl+s, which keeps a jpg.

Does anyone else just at some point randomly pick a tiny island (like the Azores or Grenada or something) and just take a little tour around the area?

I have one place that I cannot find. Where is the Hagia Sofia? Only, I cannot fly to it (it keeps taking me to some tourist attractions in Vermont) and I can't comb all of Istanbul looking for it, Because I have to check practically every block.

Just go to Istanbul and then do a local search...it usually works.

The Hagia Sofia is large enough not to be overlooked.

I like the big road on the mountains that comes out of Monaco, passes by France and goes on to Italy. Through the mountains, beneath them, on them, now thats an highway :D

We all know this thread will be shut down by the NSA soon enough. What a pointless thing to do though, seriously. I got it a few months back, looked at my house, pearl harbor, Berlin, Moscow, London and a few other cities and got bored with it. I uninstalled it because it was causing problems on my computer as well, it kept running slower.

Ok, I have a problem. I've somehow turned on a type of icon that shows where natural disasters like earthquakes and volcanic eruptions have happened. How do I turn this off? In some places, I can't get a proper view of the area because of all these icons. Can't find the proper folder in the "Places" list either, and now I've unselected all of my "My places"-downloads.

I absolutely love Google Earth. The day I downloaded it I spent 3 hours just checking things out. I found every base I lived in when I was in the US Army, in Germany, Colorado, and Iraq. Unfortunately, my hometown and the town I live in now are extremely blurry, as I live rather far away from any city of any importance.

There's a swazstika in San Diego made out of some warehouses. We have it at school, not at home because I have Windows ME.

Though Virtual Earth from MSN... I mean Windows Live offers excellent excellent close ups. Somewhat creepy.
