So, do you know any silly laws the Government enforces upon you?

I'll start.

In Australia it is only legal to have sex with a Kangaroo if you're drunk.

In California it used to be illegal to let a horse swim in your swimming pool.

In Massachusetts, men were required to carry a musket to church on Sunday.

In Chester it is leagal to shoot a Welshman with a crossbow from the city walls after dark. (If I rember correctly)

Afraid thats only a local law, you'd still get done for murder.

Up until the past decade or so, in South Dakota a group of three or more Native Americans congregating in your yard could be considered a "war party" and you were allowed to fire warning shots to get them off... :D

Setting off a nuclear weapon in San Franciso (or was it LA?) will result in a $500 fine.

Untill six years ago, it was legal to kill turks in Iceland.

The law was made after a bunch of coastal towns were raided by turkish pirates in the early 1800's and noone bothered to remove it...Untill someone dug it up as the turkish national football team came to play the Icelandic team.
No turks were murdered.

Well, that's reassuring, considering I can't envision what other excuse someone would have for having sex with a kangaroo.
