I didn't eat it when I was a vegan because I found out what it's made from, I can't eat it now because the very thought of eating pig and cow bone smushy makes me sick.....

my kids like lemon Jello though, I didn't tell them what it's made from:cool:

I like lime. And I clearly knew what it came from. Still, that doesn't stop me.

Request for actual poll. You know, "A - Jello Rocks. B - Jello Sucks. C - The sky was blue today, but there we lovely pink fluffy clouds at sunset, and grass is prickly."

I'm fine with most jello. I don't care what flavor it is, as long as it's not Deluxe Intestine of Monkey with Added Sugar (even with the added sugar, I hear it's pretty awful)...I mean, it's a square blob, and it fwlobbles around when poked, what's not to like?

The texture of flan displeases me.

I know that's a little off topic, but I had to get it off my chest.

there are alot of processed foods that one would be better off not knowing what's exactly inside them or how they're processed. you can focus on the ingrediants or you can marvel at the process that turns what would've been thrown away into a yummy treat.

Then what's the word for jelly?
in the UK:

jelly = "jello" wobbly stuff
jam = jelly spread for sandwiches etc
("jello" = non-word)

what's 'jam' over there with you, btw?

Jam has seeds and is lumpy, while jelly is smooth and sugary. But they're both good on toast.

for us, Jelly is like jam but with a little Geletin consistancy added. makes it last longer and more portable.

Actually, I drink a glass of liquid Jell-O for a nightcap. I like to mix orange and apricot but I like black cherry, too. I have joint problems and liquid gelatin helps; does nice things for my hair and fingernails, too.
