What are you doing to celebrate Canada Day on July First?
I am heading to Parliament Hill for the big party, and hoping to watch the fireworks from the Astrolabe Theatre, an open-air spot with a great view of Parliament Hill and the Ottawa River (Over which the fireworks will be displayed).
P.S.: It is on a Saturday this year, so everyone has it off. We can all celebrate!

When I was in Canada, '04 summer, I arrived the day before Canada. I chowed down on fresh perogies, fruits, listened to music and took part in the festivities. Was rather great...more fun than the 4th, imo. Plus, the weather was far, far more tolerable where I was at.

I'm working, then hanging with a friend from Michigan. Sometime tomorrow we're going to buy a chocolate bar and marvel at the 6% GST. Yay!

That kicks ass.
Anyway, I'll be silently wishing California was either it's own country or part of Canada. Or I was in Canada. Or something possitive about Canada. Oh, Canada...

Of course! The great thing about Canada is that we get to celebrate everybody's holidays, since we have people from everywhere here. It is nice to have a holiday of our own, though. ;)

I'm a Canadian living in England, so my celebration was small. I had a pint and sang Oh Canada.
I'm jealous of the guy going to Glacier!

Finalizing our plans for celebrating the British surrender on July 3 with our British neighbors and then for the celebration of Independance Day on July 4. Canada Day just doesn't fit into my plans.
Happy Canada Day, eh?

I'm not Canadian, but English, and my family nearly moved to Canada in the early/mid 80's due to a need of telephone engineers. I haven't celebrated Canada Day other than read about on Wiki & Un - cyclopedia, but still, happy Canada Day to all you Canadian people!

Alright, so I had a super Canada Day!
I saw some "pirates", went to an amazing concert including a performance by one of my favourite musicians (Colin James), saw fireworks, and then had fun with some friends.
I invite you all to check out my composite video (www.fileden.com/files/26565/CDC-2.wmv) of the day. It is only four and a half minutes long, and supercool (Naturally).
