Shameful?

Ok, the US has a few SF guys outside Zarqawi's house, and orders up a 500 pound laser guided curb stomp.
Sounds like traditional military action to me.
So how is it "shameful"?
Bin Laden released a video tape about Zarqawi's death today, and this was in it:
"Our Islamic nation was surprised to find its knight, the lion of jihad (holy war), the man of determination and will, Abu Musab al- Zarqawi, killed in a shameful American raid," bin Laden said.
Shameful?

Zarqawi, if anything else, was a solider, and knew the job was dangerous when he took it.
So he died in combat. US forces engaged him in combat (ok, rather one sided, but that's how combat is a lot of times).
How is that "shameful"?

A lot of things, but saying that it was a "shameful raid" implies that somehow, the US was doing something that didn't fit the norms of combat. As if we had pulled him out into the street and treated him like a pinata and beat him with strips of pork.
Shameful?
I think Osama is a little biased - But If you call him on it - I'm sure he'll apologize.

Standard procedure, of course the pork comes after the near-drowning in porn and whiskey.

Then I guess Bin Laden would know all about that..*cough*Beheadings*cough*

Wow, Kimchi-you've managed to point out that bin Laden has a rather skewed scope of events. Like a laser beam, you are...

Probably a reference to the widespread perception among their followers that he was betrayed. Kinda like Jesus, you know, biblical language and all. Their press releases read like they were written with grammatical rules centuries old.

Okay, how's this?
"All life is sacred."
"Destroying the sacred is shameful."
"Therefore, killing Z-dude is shameful."
Not buying?
Maybe Bin-Laden was being sarcastic!
"Yeah, what a shame that f***er's dead."

Maybe it's shameful because the USA killed him with only a 500lb bomb? Maybe to reach paradise you need something more powerful?

Absolutely, this is the religion of peace we're talking about. We should have had the Dixie Chicks do a benefit outside Zarqawi's house. That would have resulted in immediate surrender.

That's cruel and unusual punishment ... even for the likes of the Z-man.
Incidently, nice to see Osama's still alive and well and unhindered in his budding film career. Nice job hiding from us, 'sama, nice job. Still have that apartment in the Bronx?
To be fair, Osama (or as we call him "L to the A to the d-e-n" O-sizzle samizzle) did call the Z-ster a martyr. Wait for the impending statue.

There's something about becoming a martyr that just doesn't make the statue seem worthwhile. Oh yeah, the death part. And the fact that it's usually painful and fiery.

It's shameful because he was such a nice guy who never did any harm except to Americans, polytheists, heretics, and muslims. The first three are enemies of god, so it's good to kill them, the last group are going to paradise anyway, so it's ok to kill them.

It is shameful for a kaffir to do anything but licking the private parts of a good member of the Umma.
I reckon it's time to reverse that equation...
