There are several different definitions of sodomy, AFAIK. But either way, drink driving.

Drunk driving do cause most of road accidents.
Y'know, where people die. I'd consider death to be harm.

So would I. And in this case, it was caused by someone crashing a car. That he was drunk was immaterial.
Cars are hugely dangerous. Crashing them should be an extremely serious crime. That, I think, would deter drunk driving without having to criminalise it directly.

Driving while drunk show complete disregard for ones' own and others' safety. The fact that someone is drunk is anything but immaterial.
Doing something as stupid as to criminalize vehicular accidents does nothing to disuade drunk driving.

Will never work. Somebody driving and following all the rules can still spin out and crash from things like ice on the road.
The probability of you crashing while driving drunk is GREATLY increased and thus laws are warranted.

Indeed. Criminalizing car crashes also cause huge headaches, such as sending innocents to prison just because they happened to be on the road while a drunk driver smashed into their car and they didn't manage to prevent it.

Silly question. Drunk driving is always a crime. Sodomy is usually not. Unless you are living in one of those backwater southern states where they have all sorts of quaint antiquated laws still on the books..

You shouldn't just criminalise car accidents. But accidents with fault, absolutely.

It's already the case. However, the fact remains that drunk drivin is criminalized in an attempt to prevent car crashes. Statistics Canada clearly shows that drunk driving is the main cause of car accidents in my country, and it's already a crime. Imagine the hecatomb if it was legal.

"accidents" that occur while driving drunk are "with fault" by definition.

Skal already pointed this out. In the law you are at fault if you have an accident. Ice causes you to spin out thus by your rules they go to prision.
That is a waste of time, money, and space for real criminals.....

Good God yes.

Actually, drunk driving and AIDS are quite close to one another in death rates in the United States, and world wide AIDS kills more than drunk driving. I use AIDS as an example because it is probably the worst possible outcome of engaging in "sodomy".
From a nonmoral perspective, a person with AIDS can in their lifetime can cause the deaths of a far greater number of people than one could possibly cause while driving drunk. It is because of the ignorance of some people that Africa is battling widespread disease that kills far more people than drunk driving ever could. A drunk driver could not possibly have reaped the same results from crashing his pickup truck.

Sodomy isn't the cause of AIDS. You can't blame gay people for it. Besides, the OP didn't say "Which is a Greater Sin: Drunk Driving or Unprotected Sodomy in the Case that you have an STD." Some people are idiots that choose to infect others with HIV, but, for the most part, the reason why sodomy spread AIDS was because the men doing it in the 1980's didn't realise there was any reason to use protection. The world knows now, and things are changing.

AIDS is far from being spread only by sodomy. In fact, Sodomy isn't even the main cause. In africa, it is spread mostly by heterosexual behaviour. In the western world, injection drugs and the syringes used are the main vector of transmission.
So while your simile might hold for a "which is the worst: Car accidents or AIDS?" discussion, it's pretty much irrelevant when it comes to "Which is worst: drunk driving or sodomy?" thread.
Just my two cents.

Even if there was some sort of intrinsic connection between sodomy and AIDS (which there really isn't), there is absolutely no connection between sodomy and AIDS in Africa, where the most at-risk sector of the population is monogamous, heterosexual married women.

Violating a traffic law should make all subsequent accidents your fault.
