There was an alternate ending to the film Dr. Stranglove, where instead of video of nukes going off, they had a pie fight in the war room. At one point the Russian ambassador nails the president, and General Turgidson pronounces aloud "Gentlemen, the president has been struck down, in the prime of his life and his presidency. I say massive retaliation!"
Ah, pie fights are truly great.
