Additionally, it is a well known and popular fact that a large proportion of trolls still live with their mummy and/or daddy. So a large proportion of bridges containing trolls will contain a family unit of two or more trolls*.


Thus, although not proved, ∑(Trolls)>∑(Bridges) may be a true statement.

Fair point. Furthermore, when dealing with troll infestations, should one make a distinction between biological trolls and those that are a construct of artifice? One would imagine that the counter agents would be different in the two cases.
