Ever see that sceen in Titantic where all the water starts flowing into the room? That is happening in the room I am typing in.

My backyard, corvered in atleast 4 inches of water, is starting to come over the sandbags that were suppose to keep the floor dry.

There's water coming in the garage too. The driveway is a waterfall. The deep ditch that is down near the road, overflowing. My pool, also.

I am now changing my mind about rain, I now hate it.

Although, the carpet that is getting soaked is old, we've been wanting a new one :p

I'm guessing since my dad isn't freaking out, there's nothing important in the garage. :)

And we don't have a basement, so we are not going to have to worry about that. :p

But, I'm just surprised that my house is getting flooded, it's on a big damn hill..

Yeah, may we reccomend retreating upstairs? Preferably before the water reaches the power socket.

Yeah that's happened to me before. It floods around here from time to time.

It's a bitch to clean up.

Just put your computer on stilts and wear wading boots.

I hope you're typing on a laptop running on battery.

Would hate to lose you, Ruffy. You're still so young. *sniff*

That happened to my mum's house before...

The insurance company tried to get out of coughing up for the damage caused. They claimed that at a weather station 10 miles away there hadn't been suffcient rain for it to be classified as a flood. Therefore they weren't liable for any damage caused by the flood.

We sent them photos of the flood and explained how if they didn't pay then we might also send the photos, along with their correspondence, to other people as well, namely journalists, and possibly the courts.

They paid up after that.
