Since I missed out on the Sexiest Woman thread, I suppose I'll put in a meager attempt to be in this one if it's not too late.

I grew up in California, the Bay Area primarily, and now live in Reno. I moved to Florida for a little while because I had vacationed there when I was younger and really liked the weather, moreover the fact that it would rain on a hot day. I love rain and, if I were a little less shy, nothing would stop me from dancing naked in the rain. I have never been out of the United States even though I would like to visit other countries very much. I'm just concerned that someone will say, "Ack! A USian! Die! Die!"

When I was three I took an interest in a an organ at my grandparents' house. I have been playing music in one form or another since then. I feel incomplete without music. I also like to write, but I never seem to find enough privacy when ideas for poems or stories hit me. Unfortunately, it is one of my favorite things that I never get to do.

I went to catholic school and it really warped me, especially being in an all girls high school. A nun once complimented me on a leather halter top that I had snuck in under my shirt and had been showing to a friend. That really opened my eyes about nuns. My name is Ilie, and I try not to mention it much but my real name is Naomi. I am 24 years old and shamefully still living in my mother's closet. I am 5'9" and thin, but I have a curvy body and long legs so jeans never fit me right. I have glasses but I mostly wear contacts because I hate when it rains and there's no windshield wipers for glasses. I was raised in Yorkshire, England, but have been in Maryland, USA for 14 years. I no longer have an accent (a British one, anyway...ask me if I have a Baltimore accent.)

I have a small dachshund and I play computer games like Heroes of Might and Magic V whenever I have any 5-hour blocks of free time. I am looking forward to Spore coming out in February and will most likely create a whole new computer for it. I read webcomics like Achewood, Scary Go Round, and Cat and Girl. I'm trying to get into Pilates, although I hate exercise because it hurts and it's boring. Thankfully I don't need to exercise much except for, you know, being healthy and crap. I watch WWE wrestling every Monday night, and I know it's fake so please don't tell me.

For work, I visit first-time moms in the area to teach them how to not screw up their kid, basically. Also how to not flip out and kill their kid. I am in the midst of grad school for school counseling at the same time. Shoot me.

Every few months I buy a hair dye kit and dye my hair the exact same color as my natural hair, for no good reason. My author heroes are: Richard Feynman, Laurie Notaro, Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, Dave Barry, and Jonathan Ames. I read all day and all night.
