Thread to post in when not sleeping

.
..

- I'm listening to the song Mary Jane by Alanis Morissette.

- I just ended a phonecall with my little, 17 year old teenage-girlfriend.

- I miss her like hell, it seems like eternity has passed since I touched her soft hair.

- I'm trying to get these words together, and it's quite hard, since my motherlanguage ain't english, and my fingers tend to slip.

It's 5:45 in the morning, and I haven't slept all night.
I didn't sleep last night either.

I thought I'd start a thread so I can post something quite stupid without worrying about bad spelling, stupidness of my post, and the fact that no-one actually wants to see me posting here.

Anyway, from now on, I'm going to post my strangest feelings in this thread, and you can't comment them or tell me about your sleepless nights.

I would also like to hear what you do when everyone else sleeps.

Happy hunting,
Emie

I'm usually sleeping when everyone else is sleeping :D.

However, if I can't sleep, I'll be watching sport or posting on here.

Right now it's 2:53pm and I'm meant to be doing homework .

Wow.

I thought you'd do something much more radical.

I've been sitting on roofs and watching the clouds and things go by.

But sports-watching is quite nice too, yeah.

Does watching sport or other things from television on getting sleep?

Well, I can't access a roof.

What can I say? I love sport :fluffle:.

What do you mean, don't you have roofs there where you live?

You live in iglu??

Wait a minute, iglus have got a roof too. Wow, don't try to cheat me now!!

Bumboat:

Do you read any instructions?
They're boring enough.

Or then something lond, hard and heavy.
Like Dostojevski or stuff.

Wow, wow.

I'm seeing things.

Where are you St Aesthetis? What is your mother tongue? I can certainly relate to your situation. I also suffer the lonliness triggered insomnia from not being with my girlfriend. However, my girlfriend is not in my country, because my government doesn't think she is worthy. Hopefully she'll be back by new years though...visas aren't cheap. :( Why are you apart from your beloved?

I'm not asleep... but I have a headache, which means I probably should be. Question: if someone starts a pointless thread, which is therefore "off-topic" by definition, is it actually only off-topic if someone starts a serious discussion?

What I mean is, it would be extremely hard (if not impossible) to access the roof without the help of a ladder.

I'm living in Finland and my language is finnish.
(.Ja nyt jos joku osaa tuota maagista kieltä puhua niin huikkaiskoon!)

Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear that.. :( Maybe a little online-huggie will help a bit?
:fluffle:
I'm away from my love because she lives in the capital city of Finland, Helsinki, and I live in the central Finland.
She has her cat, home, friends and family there, so she has to live her routine days there..
We don't have enough money to see each other often enough, because we don't have a car nor license, and the traintickets cost quite much..

*sigh* But I don't know what I did in you r situation.. it sounds so much worse.. Kambatte kuda sai! Voimia! Strenght!

No it's not impossible.

Well there was a ladder there but I couldn't find any good ones taken from roofs with no ladders.

Hmm, some difficult questions you throw on me now.
This has to be thought of with an attention.

Hey, I know! I'll make a poll!

Nah. I can't make a poll no more.

Well.

Then I'll just have to think about it myself.

I also have insomnia, but it is because I am coming down from the rolls I took with my 19 year old girlfriend today. And I know that makes me a bad person or something in most people's eyes, since I am 29, do drugs, and date a girl 10 years younger than me. I personally don't care- in fact, I think anyone who has a problem with it is just jealous.

If I'm awake when nobody else is, it's because my dog stepped on my throat while trying to find a more comfortable sleeping position. OR I am caught up in my newest favorite computer game, Heroes of Might and Magic V. (Or I took an Allegra, which makes me wake up at 4 am no matter what.)

How is heroes 5 compared to the others? I loved 3, but thought 4 sucked ass so I didn't bother when 5 came out.

I meant 4, I actually haven't played 5 yet. I liked 4, but I agree 3 > 4.

dude, ur english is waaay better than mine and im (almost) fully awake and a native speaker. Don't sweat ur grammar unless u wanna correct someone elses.

When I cant sleep I generally come here and post.
I used to talk on the phone with my boyfriend until I fell asleep. And now falling asleep all by myself is very lonesome, even tho he was never actually "with" me (or almost never).
I miss being in a completely loving relationship.

Oh, sweetie! *huggies the loneliness away* :fluffle:

Thank you for praising my grammar.. Maybe I'm just so much of a perfectionist that I need to speak the best possible way.
They also say that my spelling when speaking english is almost too good.
In Italy they thaught I'm Irish ;D

LoL! Most excellent.

Now I'm hungry for pizza....everything always seems to go back to food with me.

I wonder if Italians make wines that go well with pizza? I mean, what could be a more Italian meal?

Well, I think I'm gonna go dream of Roma.

I wonder if the word Aroma is related to the word Rome/Roma?

I'm a lil random and my mind jumps around when I'm tired, if you couldn't tell.

I think you oughtto go lie down and try to sleep and dream of your beloved.

Yeah. Time zones are obsolete nowadays anyway! What's time, but just a number?! Or two numbers separated by a colon!! ... And followed in some places by one of two Latin abbreviations! (?)

(sigh) My son is asleep, and I'm bored.

I've still got between 2 and 3 hours left amongst the waking. Then I'll hibernate until 1 or 2 in the afternoon (if the construction workers at my house don't start up at 10 in the morning, leaving me with 5 hours of sleep).

I'm a pretty messed up sleeper. My prefered schedule has me up until dawn and asleep until after the sun is past it's peak. Since it's summer break, I'm able to pull it off too. The nice part about having your summer job be one where the pay is for skills (I teach beggining/intermediate viola lessons for 30 bucks an hour) is that you set your own hours and work much less.

It's 6:48 PM. I'm sitting on my fiance's bed, staring at the Chinese Water Dragon we're housing in a rather large tank in the closet. He's out for a walk, talking to the roommate about some problems around here.

The Water Dragon, named Lin, isn't quite as entertaining as he was earlier. I'm rather impatiently awaiting my fiance's return, as my heart is pounding and I can't seem to calm down. The roommate's girlfriend is here too, and she's the problem. She's been harassing me, but she's my fiance's sister and the roommate's ride home from work, so there's no way to keep her out of the house.

I have a feeling at some point it's going to be suggested that I leave and go back to my own apartment, 130 miles away. I'm not leaving. She has somewhere else to stay and a way to get there. She should either avoid staying here, or not waste the time harassing me.
