I have this game for a long time... And I have been playing it non stop for a long time. Has anybody else found this game as addicting as I have?

I bought it thinking it would be great. I played it twice and I got really bored (the only reason I played it a second time was because I thought maybe I'd missed some incredibly exciting part of it. I hadn't.)

Great game. Oblivion is iffy though. Takes one huge leap forward in graphics, but almost everything else is worse than before. Save the thing where NPCs actually move on their own.

it takes time... I stopped playing it the same day I got it for about 3 weeks. But I looked into it more and really tried to understand to the game.....

I like the combat system on oblivion, unlike morrowind where no matter how close you are its up to luk it you hi them. in oblivion you always hit when close, How hard you hit depends on how good you are with that weapon... I like that, but the rest I really didn't like....

Yeah, I have neither time nor patience. I like games where I get given a sword and fight 50 evil creatures within the first 5 minutes.

Oblivion has a different battle model - it abandons the DnD like dice rolling system.

Dungeon Siege 2 is probably for you.

Ah, I forgot the combat system. Yes much improved. But I wish they didn't dumb down the combat skills.
First, I want my spears back.
Second, I want Medium Armor back, there is more range than just Heavy or Light.
Third, I want Axes and Blunts back where they belong; in different categories.
Fourth, I want 'Blades' in different categories. At least go back to Short and Long. If not all the way to Short, Long, and Medium.
Fifth, throwing weapons need to come back and have their own category. I guess I *could* live with them back in Marksman, but I'd do it begrudgingly.
Sixth, let staffs be used for more than magic. They make wonderful blunt weapons too, believe it or not ;)
I'm sure I'm forgetting something... but I'll leave it at this for now.

I played the shit out of this game. Currently trying to install a DVD-ROM so I can play Oblivion. The things I liked best about this game were the SOUNDTRACK....OMFG IT ROCKS! And the loot system. Loved it. I had a couple caves that I took over and proceeded to fill with loot. Gimme Gimme. LOL I also found myself talking to my family like this: (Husband comes home from work I greet him with a stern...) "OUTLANDER! WHAT DO YOU WANT?" LOL And I also loved playing every single group against the middle. How none of them discovered my treason is interesting...LOL

If you liked Morrowind's loot system, you will absolutely loathe Oblivion's loot system.
One word (well two words with a hyphen):
Level-scaling.

Used to play it, but now play Oblivion. Oblivion is better just because it's full of grassy fields instead of ashy deserts.
I played a while ago, but has since lost most interest. I completed the main quest and started a new game, but then som strange glitch caused me to lose all my Ebony aromor and I stopped playing.
I'd love to play oblivion, but there's no way it will work on my computer.
