Comedian Julia Sweeney of SNL fame puts up a one woman show about her loss of faith, which is apparently very popular in California.

I am struck by her sincerity and her clear expression of her inner conflict. Her experience supports my view that most atheists are exasperated escapees from institutionalized Patriarchal religions. Radicalized and polarized by their rigid, intolerant and irrational religious environment.
I think people who have not been hit by Patriarchal religions would commonly be agnostic or pan-theistic rather than hard-hitting atheistic. :)
