Dementia pugilistica, also called chronic traumatic encephalopathy, pugilistic Parkinson's syndrome, boxer's syndrome, and punch-drunk syndrome, is a neurological disorder which affects career boxers and others who receive multiple dazing blows to the head. People should be allowed to live their own lives. Sometimes there personal choices and goals will hurt them. This is a sad fact we all hope to be clever enough to avoid. This is not an invitation to legislatively impose mom with a shiney badge and goverment issue jumper where she's clearly unwelcome.

Yeah, it is a tragedy how things worked out for Muhammad Ali, who may even be The Greatest For All-Time. So because of the end he's inadvertantly chosen for himself EVERYONE should be denied the opportunity to leave such a legacy? He traded the well-being that follows the summer of youth for immortality. Who is anyone else to judge the merits of his bargain?
