Some of us who are currently living in SoCal kind of take issue with the prospect of a 9.0 earthquake happening. Could be, well... Deadly. And I would rather like to avoid death if I can.


But more on topic it isn't happening any minute now. Stress fractures haven't begun to form nor has river flow started to change. Nor have I seen any reports of any other major indicators of tectonic shift. Almost certainly a series of micro quakes will precede this event too. Of course this will be very little warning in terms of time, but it still hasn't happened yet.

Meh. Earthquakes arent much as long as something doesnt fall on you. They are kinda cool to be in otherwise. I shot beer out of my nose when I read that the San Andreas was set to "explode". Anyway the San Andreas being all stressed up and ready to shift and shake is hardly news.

Good riddance.
