Okay, Im sitting here in Southern Arizona, about fifty miles from the Mexican border, and its raining.
Not just raining, its HAILING.
As in about 3/4 inch diameter hail.
Oh, and the street is flooded now.
This is not supposed to happen here, Im sure theres some sort of law against it.
I know Im opposed to it. Its going to be me repairing the thosand or so dings in the stucco now.

Well, hail is actually more likely than rain... not that that really helps anything. That's really weird. Hope not too much gets damaged, anyway.

Okay, Im sitting here in Southern Ontario, its a bit of a drive to the United States border, and its sunny.
Not just sunny, theres CLOUDS.
As in very nice clouds.
Oh, and theres soccer players at the park.
This happens here quite often...
I can't say I oppose it... and I have the satisfaction of knowing I don't need to repair anything. :)

You'd change your mind about that come November or December. I used to live right on the border with northern Ontario, and damn it was chilly.

As an added bonus, all the snakes and cholla will hopefully die.
You can take the 112 degree heat we get in the summer, enjoy it :P
As for ice...we have this stuff called coleche (sp?) clay. Whenever it rains, it turns into what is quite possibly the stickiest AND slipperiest substance on the planet. You walk a yard and end up an inch taller, and, at the same time, you could most likely skate on it if you were willing to try and could find a spot without a ton of rocks in it.
For the shoveling, we have dust. And hail now, apparently.
