Now this might be old news and in fact this link states it is, but I just saw a news story on this just now on ABC News so I'm surprised there wasn't more coverage on this.

CNN.com- Lawyer Troops to face murder charges (http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/06/01/marine.charges.ap/index.html)

OH NOES!! POSTING THIS LINK MEANS I HATE FREEDOM AND WANT TO DESTROY AMERICA!! I'M A COMMIE-LIBERAL AL QAEDA TERRORIST!!

And now that I got that pre-emptive heckling at the 101st Fighting Keyboarders out of the way, more serious words.

Now what the news article doesn't say but the ABC story did was that all but one of the defendants confessed to the murder of the 40-50 something handicapped Iraqi man. And not really sorry to disappoint the 101st Fighting Keyboarders again but no conspiracy talk of "Direct Orders to Murder From The Top".

Turns out these ass-wipes were sent to Hamandiya to look and apprehend a terror suspect. But they couldn't find their man so instead they went to a randomly selected Iraqi home, dragged the man out, beat him, shot him up, then planted the Kalashnikov and the shovel to make him look like just another insurgent. The Marine in charge of the patrol even falsified reports.

Pre-meditated Murder is a capital offense in military law. Hope these assholes fry. Or maybe even turn them loose naked and bound to the friendly natives of Hamandiya. Hey, if you're going to be brutal and indifferent to the supposed enemies, well as might show you're not going to hold your own to special treatments if they fall out of line.

Funny. I got a five day ban for posting a similar article about a bunch of mercenaries blowing up Iraqi civilians in thier cars because some asshat too the word mercenaries and ran it through his Bush-dictionary and came up with the word "troops".

Yes, it's getting so you really have to watch where you tread, what with all the Bushlickers around of late.

School must have let out, or something.
