And Portugal's playing smart by sitting all five of their guys carrying yellows.

I'll be cheering Portugal simply because I can't stand Mexico (CONCACAF rivalry and all ;) ).

By the way, love the quote in the sig. :)

Portugal have make the 2nd round so they can lose and it's doesn't matter.
Mexico need a win or draw to make the 2nd round.

If Mexico lose, then it's up to Angola to beat Iran. Angola must win, a draw is no good. Mexico's goal difference is +2 and Angola's is -1.

What is the Angola score? Then again, I expect ITV will keep us updated inbetween Gareth 'I'll take a penalty' Southgate's valuable nuggets of information.

Ooh, speak of a penalty...
Jeruselem

Idiot mexican handballs in penalty area and Portugal score penalty goal (Simao).

2 -0 to Portugal

Mexico pulls one back. 3 goals in thirty minutes, this could be good.

Unfortunately, ESPN/ABC have the rights to all coverage here, unless I want to watch in Spanish (and frankly, after I've had enough to drink, despite being effectively fluent in Spanish, I do have a hard time following it). I wish I had the luxury of English commentary. :(

If Mexico loses, it goes to goal differential, and Mexico's got the lead there on Angola right now.

You gotta learn to use more than one mouse button!

and

Iran 1 - Angola 1 at 90 min.
Mexico SHOULD be safe.

Anyway, for those in the UK: who has the next match? I think him with the nose on the ITV said they have it, but I'm not sure.

If you call having to play the winner of Argentina vs Holland safe.
