On the FIFA site, you can vote on who you think will win the Golden Shoe. Ali Karimi of iran has a big lead, despite the fact that iran probably won't be kicking any goals after tomorrow.

Why the hell isn't Ronaldhino winning? He's decidedly the best player in the competition...

Some of us are very stubborn in our opinions...

Nope. Not that I know of, anyway.

If anybody voted for Michael Owen after yesterday, I pray for humanity.

It surprised me how LOW Shevchenko was. Considering that he's generally thought to be one of the best strikers in the world right now.

Well Klose would be a fair bet atm.

I'm surprised Fernando Torres isn't in the running considering he's already got 3 goals in 2 games

Ditto for Maxi Rodriguez and Hernan Crespo. Both on 2 at the moment, and it seems fairly likely that Argentina will go far in this tournament. Klose's on 4, but I don't expect Germany to make it past the quarter finals. Torres should get a good run going with Spain - I'm expecting them to make the semis, so he could play seven games. Klose will need to score a hat trick against Sweden to be in the running by the end, because it's unlikely he'll score many (if at all) against Argentina in the quarters.
