What do you do at 5 AM weekdays? I get up about 4 AM and am in the pool swimming by 5 AM almost every weekday. After swimming ½ mile and changing clothes I get to work about 6:30 AM.

I ususally sit in front of the computer thinking it's getting late and I should go to bed sometime soon.

Sometimes, I sneak on to the local golf course and play the back 9...it helps to have an 18-hole course surrounded by subdivisions. Other than that, I'm usually still asleep.

Sleeping, or in extreme cases playing halo on xbox live.

I get up at 6. Theoretically.

Sleepin'... unless I'm camping, in which case, I'm cursing at the overly happy chirping birds!

Mon-Thurs at 5am : SLEEP
Friday at 5am: going to work

If I'm working I'm usually on my way there or, if it's night hours, about to wrap up.

If I'm not I'm probably still up since I tend to invert my sleep when I'm not working.

5am I get up for work, start work at 6am and get off around 7pm or so.

Sunbathing. Sometimes, I'll be writing homo-erotic novels while playing billiards with my cat, but mostly it's sunbathing.

I wake up at 4:20am, get dressed for practice, drive down to my boat club, start rowing practice at 5am. Usually though? I'm wishing I was sleeping

Sorry, had to do it. But yeah, I try not to be awake at five. I have three alarm clocks which wake me up at five-fifteen, five-thirty and five-forty. Yes, I wake up three times within one hour. It's the only way to get me to do anything. Unfortunately, I think I'm developing some resistance to the three alarm clocks I currently have. I'm going to have to step it up a notch.

The culture here dictates that if you do not get up early, even if you have no reason to do so, you are a bad person. Something to do with the Catholic church wanting their followers too sleepy to resist paying tithes. So I am nearly always sleeping, but sometimes still trying to get to sleep. (Damn those church bells.)

So although I am asleep. I deny being a wimp, as I am obviously too evil to be a wimp. :p

Yeah, really. I'm so tired after having sex fourteen hours each day, I can't afford to be up at five. The Inquisition has been after me for years.

I'll tell ya how...when you work 11pm to 7am like I do each and every weekday.

I'm a night-owl naturally anyways, and it's almost always dead at my job...gives me time to do homework. :)

I often wake up early to finish the school work I did not do the day before (all of it). However, now that it's summer, and it's before my girlfriend and I don't see each other for a few months, I'll either be coming home from a night of...something, sleeping at her house or sleeping at my house.

Well slightly before 5 my dog comes and wakes me so I will let her outside. She used to lick my toes or feet to wake me. Lately has decided that she would rather push on my butt with her shockingly cold wet nose to wake me. Im unsure if this is because she thinks that making me jump straight into the air from a sound sleep is funny or if I need better foot hygiene.

Anyway after that I do a sort of meditation

Yes, my locations of sleep have become incredibly erratic.

depends on the shifts I am working in which paticular week, so 1 of the following three options.

1. Sleeping
2. Eating breakfast
3. On the motorway on my way to work.

Sleeping. My alarm goes off a 6:45am weekdays, work starts at 8:00am. I do my exercising when I get home from work.

Counting ceiling tiles, listening to the trees, and considering the futility of believing in mornings altogether.

Typically, I'm asleep, but we just got a new puppy (three months) and she'll occasionally start barking in the middle of the night, which starts the other puppy (eleven months) barking, so I have to go deal with them. Thankfully, tonight is not one of those nights, but I have about fifty mysterious bug bites all over me, so I'm itching too much to sleep. The Ambien should take care of that shortly.

I do all kinds of things, but mostly reading, writing, etc...

5.00 am doesnt exist, you're all lying. Its like some crazy, stupid time nobody pays attention to because its so early.

at 5 I am usually up, Online talking to my Finacee in the UK before I go to work...

generaly anywhere from between 00:30 and 05:30 local time i tend to be on here. getting ready to go to bed, once i get done with what i'm on the net for.

more or less same time the sun is comming up.

i ain't no vampire but i do tend and prefer to be nocturnal.

mostly cause i like my solitude and that's when there aren't so many people arround. but i kind of like the night too. just on general principals.
