WC: Ecuador vs. Germany

Holy cow, why hasn't somebody made this topic yet? It's only 1 hour away! Guess it's me then.

So - Germany will obviously win 2:1. I think. Maybe. Or not.

And maybe if we can all agree right now that there are very likely going to be a couple of fishy offside calls there won't have to be so much pointless referee-bashing later on? Fabulous idea, self.

I'm torn over this game.. I think Germany will win 2-1....

However, I've got a strange feeling it could easily be Ecuador on top.. Quite confused.
Neu Leonstein
20-06-2006, 13:53
Fact is that one half of Ecuador's strike partnership isn't playing AFAIK, while Germany is expected to field pretty much the full team.

But I really can't predict a result. I think Germany will win, but it could either be an all-out free-4-all like the first match, or a tense affair like the second.

Thank you! Refs always get the short end of the stick. (I felt like I had to say something, having been a ref myself... I need to requalify.)

I'm calling a 2-1 win for Germany, with alternate results that I thought about being a 1-1 tie or a 3-0 win for Ecuador... one of those should be right. ;)
