Chuck Woolery vs. Erik Estrada

You could question the wisdom of posting a thread that is about a series of ads that only show in America at 4am PST, but you have to be up this late to have noticed them, so I'm going to run with it...

Who would you buy real estate from?

The Background: There is a series of ads for unbuilt property lots in various locations like Lake Shastina in Northern California, something out near Seatle, another in Arkansas and on in Texas. The text of the ads, regardless of the location, is very similar (drifting from the first one that tacitly implied that it was a good place to go to get away from minorities...they don't so much anymore...).

But even more, there are two identical versions of the ads for each location, same text and clips, only one is with Erik Estrada (CHiPs, Sealab 2021, Sureal Life) and one with Chuck Woolery (Love Connection, The Dating Game, and interestingly enough, and episode of CHiPs as himself in a celib foot race...)

Which struck me as interesting, it implies that there is a market that would respond to Woolery more than Estrada and vice versa. And that leads to the question posed here, who are you more likely to buy undeveloped property in 'growth communities' from?

Poll coming, wait for it...

Hands down: Ponch....I mean Erik. Chuck Woolery is a pervert and I dont think he could stop fondling himself long enough to show me through the door of a house for sale.

Egads, I don't know either of them, and based on these two recently googled pictures, I'd say neither - but if I have to, I'd go with Woolery (http://www.americanpopularculture.com/assets/Woolery.gif), because Estrada (http://i.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/imgs/040106/104542__eric_l.jpg)'s smile is even more fake. Which is quite an achievement.

There was this game show that he hosted, not the old days of Love Connection, but a more recent show....something to do with unscrambling letters to make words. Anyway, there was this horribly overacting ditzy blonde -his "co-host" and I swear, he would undress her with his eyes during the show and when they were saying goodbye at the end of the show, his arm and sometimes hand would brush up against her breasts! Plus he verbaly flirted with her during the show. I felt like I needed a shower after watching it. He just seemed.....desperately horny.

That would be the show "Lingo"...a fun show to play along with at home, but yes, Woolery is disturbingly pervy.

Still...Scrabble pwns Chips, so Woolery still gets my vote.

He reminds us of a bygone era where highway patrol traffic motorcycle cops solved crimes (without drawing thier guns), Ponch used his position to get the ladies, and nothing was as it seemed...

For a while my brother had a CHiPs clan on SOCOM where he was Ponch and his buddy John...

You know, I was gonna be embarrassed - but that's actually kind of cool, if you think about it. Yay German national soccer team! :p

Confession: I was singing "Macho Man" in the kitchen the other day. We were having Nachos and somehow it became a Village People concert at the table.

Odd I know, but the Nachos were great.
