The Enneagram is a personality typing system with nine types, hence the root ennea, that are arranged around a nine pointed star. Supposedly, each personality type is influenced by the characteristics of the two types it is next to (its wings) and the two types it is connected to by the lines of the star (its arrows). I used to think I was a 5 (the Observer) but then I started to think I wasn't. I concluded after a while that I was a 9 (Peacemaker), but all the tests I take trying to confirm that (you don't need to tell me how stupid that is, by the way) keep saying I'm overwhelmingly a 3 (Achiever). I can see why they say that, but I really don't think I'm a 3.
So anyway - what do you think? Have you heard of it before? Do you think it's useful or useless and bunk? Do you know what type you are?
