OK time for your final decision about group A.

(Option 10 is to seriously confuse the USAmericans involved in this.)

I predict (probably incorrectly as my track record this world cup is about as good as Saudi Arabia's keeper) 2 - 1 to Germany and 3 -1 to Costa Rica.

Germany will grow a little bit and beat Ecuador. My predictions suck, but I say 3:2.

Poland plays better now and beats Costa Rica convincingly by 2:0.

I was counting on "B" teams..
But im am not so sure.. after reading Ballack stetements..

Germany will want to win their group (and are better than Ecuador), and Poland are better than Costa Rica. So a Germany win and a Poland win, Germany by 1 and Poland by 2.

so this results in

on the basis that the attacks have averaged to the same strength, but Germany's defence is two goals weaker than Ecuador's.

On the basis that Polands defence is four goals better than Costa Rica's but Costa Rica has a two goal advantage in attack.

Hmm. I say Germany wins and the Poland ties Costa Rica. Which is completely unrelated to your prediction. Hah.

I think Ecuador will beat Germany and Poland will draw with Costa Rica.

Also, Australia will thrash not only the Poms, but also the Sri Lankans, the Kiwis & whoever else foolishly dares to challenge our might.

Despite the crazy math I still think that Germany will beat Ecuador and Costa Rica will beat Poland - we shall soon see.
