Michael Moore or Anne Coulter
In my opinion they are equal but opposite forces for evil. Each making a mockery of their side's core beliefs. If they were to die the would be reincarnated as weasels.

In the same vein ironically, I like both Limbaugh and Franken ...they are witty and so overblown in their poposity as to become cartoonishly funny.

Moore isn't advocating the extermination of Muslims. I think Anne Coulter wins this by a long way.

You should list all the evil things that Micheal Moore and Ann Coulter has done and see who has a bigger list. If you are fair I would think that you would find Coulter to be overwhelmingly more evil.

I guess I can see why the right-wing dislikes Moore so vehemently--he's certainly not my favorite filmmaker, for some of the very reasons the right-wing screeches so loudly about him. But he's no Coulter. He doesn't have a tenth the presence she has in the major media.

Moore makes a film every three to four years, right? And he's on tv a good bit around the release of each one, but that's generally it--short runs. Coulter is on some talking head show every week, it seems, plus she writes a pretty well syndicated column. She's a lot more visible. Even if the two were exchanging equal levels of vitriol--which they aren't, Coulter is far nastier--Coulter wins because she has the larger megaphone..

Of the second pairing Id say Limbaugh is the worst windbag.

Do you really think so? I have a hard time believing it, because on the rare occasion when she's challenged, like when Matt Lauer smacked her around last week, she's got nothing to retort with. A true believer would have a reply to challenges, I would think. I think she's putting on an act--a particularly loathesome one, to be sure, but an act all the same.

I've yet to hear Michael Moore advocate the murder of journalists, or the murder of liberals, or the assassination of political leaders who don't follow his particular world vision. I've yet to hear Michael Moore attacking widows, or rape victims, or the victims of natural disasters. Michael Moore is obnoxious; Ann Coulter is dangerously sociopathic.

More importantly, Michael Moore is a dude who makes movies; Ann Coulter is a spokeswoman for the right wing. Michael Moore has been on Bill Maher (one of the most left-leaning shows on TV) FEWER TIMES than Ann Coulter. Michael Moore gets nowhere NEAR the mainstream attention that Ann Coulter does. He's a boogyman that gets held up as though he's at all relavent. Most people on the left don't even pretend to agree with much of what he says and does. Meanwhile, Ann Coulter gets supported and praised by mainstream conservatives when she calls for the murder of judges. Ann Coulter is defened and supported when she suggests that entire countries be converted to Christianity by force. Ann Coulter is held up BY CONSERVATIVES as their spokewoman, while Michael Moore is...well, he's held up BY CONSERVATIVES as a liberal spokesman.

That's the thing. Ann doesn't use facts. I mean, at least Moore's facts are at least nominally supported by video documentation. There's only so much one can do with clever editing. And I have seen him create falsehoods by omission.

Coulter, on the other hand, makes shit up out of whole cloth, and in some cases LIES when it comes to citing her sources. She advocates evil and violent acts.

Let's look at the tale of the tape.

Michael Moore tried to convince Congress members to send their kids to Iraq. He lampooned Bush for going on vacation all the damn time. He pitied the poor folks of Flint, Michigan, which he may or may not have called home. He thought Gore won in 2000, and frankly, he might have been right. MIGHT have been. I don't know.

Ann Coulter advocated the murder of world leaders, the destruction of Middle Eastern major cities, forced conversion to Christianity, and carpet-bombing for the sake of carpet-bombing. She said it would be "fun" to nuke North Korea. She disparages liberals CONSTANTLY, as if liberals are some sort of subhuman scum.

The kicker?

Michael Moore makes a movie about all this, while Ann Coulter sticks to books. Advantage: Moore.
Moore, however, never decided to antagonize those who were already greving. Patronize them, maybe. But to argue that anyone who would enjoy their spouse's death thanks to a horrible tragedy is absolutely insane. People who enjoy the deaths of their spouses are either miserable, gold-diggers, abused, or sociopathic...or killed their spouses themselves. We know the last one isn't true of any 9/11 widows. And I doubt that all or even a sizeable number of them fit the mold of any of the others.

Sorry Moore-haters, but he's nowhere near the ass Coulter is. Frankly, I like Michael Moore. I take him with a grain of salt, just as I take anyone who makes a big-budget political film with a grain of salt. Frankly, any movie that tries to espouse a particular belief should be taken with a grain of salt regardless of what the belief is. I don't believe in Shoeless Joe Jackson's innocence just because of "Field of Dreams," for instance. I believe that the health care system is in dire straits and needs serious repair, but I believed that long before "John Q." And although I think Michael Moore is a good storyteller, "Fahrenheit 9/11" didn't really change my opinion. For me, the fact that I have it tells visitors that my apartment is occupied by a card-carrying liberal. That's all.

Why ? Showing comments out of context and making up stuff has been the basis for the politics of most societies and major religions for thousands of years. This attitude is in many way the basis of our society, morals and laws.
