Cashews? They are curved but where's the flavour? They're not much on texture either. How can they be favoured over hazelnuts or the gigantor cashew which is the Brazil nut. Pistachio is probably the winner for me, but it could be the whole shelling process increases the antic-i-pation rather than just the little green freaks themselves.

I like pistachios too but I'd rather have cashews.

how far gone will the environment be before fossle fuel depletion allows it to recouver.

life after idiology.

what if we DID stop printing money or paving roads.

alternative infrastructure and institutions NOT based on know existing idiologies.

invention of new alternative idiologies.

the fall of the tyranny of the iron fisted corporocrate mafia and survival in the aftermath of its fall.

getting along with our nonhuman neighbors (or human neighbors in the case of anthropomorphic persons)

where history took wrong turns.

how much do you REALLY know about indiginous cultures.

the history of the western hemisphere before it was named after an italian map maker who never say the place.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of time and effort people spend on here arguing about stupid topics. I've lost count of the number of times I've ignored something as being a ridiculous thing to say only to come back later and find it has 200+ posts.

There are loads of things that never get discussed on here. The trouble is that a lot of topics are niche ones, only interesting to certain people or places. The gay/abortion/Bush/war/race threads go on forever because they're something everyone has an opinion on, and so everyone can join in. With the other topics, you need to be lucky and post it at a time that the two or three other people who find it interesting are also online for it to survive.

You make a great point. Timing can have a lot to do with it. There could be as many as 10-20 people interested in discussing <inserts random untouched topic> but if they arent online, you wont get a lot of response. Makes the thread an easy spam target(like this very thread).
