I thought the French performance against Switzerland was poor - this mess just plumbed new depths. One way or another, France are out of the World Cup. They'll either finish third behind Switzerland, or finish second behind Korea and play Spain in the next round (simply delaying the inevitable by a week or so). Pitiful.

As Franberry said - at least they scored, unlike in 2002. They were competing with Namibia for the longest streak of consecutive games in the World Cup finals without scoring - 5 being the Namibian held record.

yeah, they looking bad as well as switzerland. make me wonder how close israel was to the mondial from the group of france and switzerland. we missed oppurtunity that wan't back soon.

And in addition to that, the 2nd ranked guy in our little football bet has predicted a 1:1 tie (whereas I said the French would win 2:1).
Don't know what's worse? The French still sucking (foot)balls or me giving them another chance to make up for the 1st game!

Did you watch the second half? Swaggering around doing little of consequen ce is fine when you're 2, 3, or (if you're Argentina :P) 6 nil up, but when you are leading by one goal in a game you have to win to have a (realistic) chance of getting to the quarter finals (remember, second placed in this group plays SPAIN) it is just arrogance.
