ok... bear with me ;)

Early years of humanity, the peak of civilisation found in Japan and China.

Later years, the middle east.

Later, Italy

Later, Britain and French empires

Presently, America.

America is in a fall, and China, India and Japan are rising, does this mean there is a cycle? :D

Prove it wrong!!!

But technology=/= civilized. Take for example the empires in Africa, or the North American Indians, they didn't have the best technology, but they were still civilized.

I might be able to see that...But then again, you look at South America, it seems to have missed the whole dominance thing, and it is west of previous more technologized areas.

Hmm, besides Egypt, there has yet to be a great African Empire, or world power....that would be freakin crazy man...could anyone see that happening? my guess is that it would take a century or two, not within our lifetimes....

But if you were on the north pole and looking south, then it would have moved to the left. and left equals west:rolleyes:

Are you serious? Read this (http://www.fsmitha.com/h3/h15-af.htm). You have the Askum(sp), ethiopia, the mandigos and so forth. they were great empires. Don't forget about when the Muslims spread in Africa, like North africa, you know the moors, they conquered a good part of spain.
