The only one I've played is San Andreas. It's ok, but I can't get the hang of driving with the playstation controller.

in fact i think driving games play easier on the PS2. Xbox is for shooting games and that gay little cube is for kiddy games.

I am stuck i san andreas in the badlands i can't seem to beat the catilina missions.

Played III and Vice City. Amazingly fun games, especially when you use the cheat codes and just cruise around for an hour tearing things up. :mp5:

An yes, I DO understand the difference between games and reality!!!

If it has nothing to do with Star Wars, I'm not really interested.

I would like them if they were fun. But I don't particularly enjoy them, and find them horrendously over-rated. Driving around for HOURS on end shooting or running over people for no real reason got boring after carmageddon, pretty much.

Though even I admit that Chatterbox FM is quite funny :)

Oh you knopw what really sucks, I had almost like...80 hrs on that damn game, two missions left, and my memory card decides to go corrupt. So I lost that game, plus my Madden 2006, and everything else. I was sooo pissed.

That used to happen with my Madden all the time. I eventually just gave up on it.

Of course i do! I went out a got it when it came out. I had achieved general status real quick, but as I mentioned in a previous post, I lost all of my data due to a memory card crash..:headbang:

Ah, so you don't play it on the PC then. That's how I play. I can be found quite frequently hosting a session on GameSpy.

EDIT: And I would've gotten it right away myself, but with Christmas right around the corner at the time, I just made it the only thing I asked for. Why spend my own money, right? ;)

I just bought Liberty City Stories for PS2. I smoked a little and then after I was done I couldn't find it. Then I found it. Then I found this thread. Stay out of my mind you weirdo.

Hell, I'll trade ya, I still cannot get past that damned dancing mission where you have to steal the van with the DJ system. Never seem to be able to hit the buttons in the right sequence or fast enough.

San Andreas is my favorite of the big 3. Fun games.

That is the only good part of that game. Honestly, I don't understand what's suposed to be fun about it.

HaHa. I got it when it came out with the movie. So ya know, I just had to get it then and there. :D

I don't think so. You have to be able to access GameSpy on teh intarwebs. Don't think the PS2 can do that.

8 is good. But I honestly prefer 7. I just like the world more. Is it just me, or is 8 a little bit... surreal in places?

It was my first FF game, so it has a special place in my heart :p

Surreal? how so, and where at?

I'm not sure. it's not the most apt word, all in all. Just sometimes it seems a little fuzzy round the edges. Most specifically the Laguna scenes, and some of the really late game ones. Everything about it has this feel to it which strikes me as being a bit odd.

Hmm, i always felt it was more realistic and such, than the other ones, well besides 7 I suppose. I mean 9 was a bout a clone boy, with a monkey tail from another world, while ten was about an imaginary guy who came from a dream world to fight his father, a large monster. Now that is odd.

I think it's the closer-to-realism that prompts my thoughts that it's surreal. When you go so far, like FF7, you automatically class it as fantasy. 8 has a few more realistic touches, in attitudes, in design aesthetics (especially early on) and in general feel. So when it departs from that, and you get the dream sequences (The Laguna sequences), something that was originally moderately believable goes flying out the window, and I guess I consider it surreal.

Waaaay too overexamined, but it makes sense to me.

Owned and beaten all the missions for III and VC. Played SA at my friend's house once. Pretty good, even though Rockstar tried too hard to push the limit of decency, making me like the games less.
