America may be taking over the world and all...But I still love them for the "intelligent design" thing, Scientology, Michael Jackson and stuff like this on the news.

Is it because Kazus referred to "America" meaning the United States, as you've had a problem with recently, or is it because the article and first post make no goddamn sense?

I'm pretty sure that it's gotten to the point now that it's a byproduct of the commercializing. And I'm not blaming...I enjoy much of it (the crazy news and loonies, that is). And if we don't like it, we don't buy it. Hence shit like marshmellow-fluff never caught on.

That last bit's news to me, we're still in large supply of marshmallow fluff in my 'hood. Not that I'm complaining, 'cause there's actually lots of cause to use marshmallow fluff when baking, especially to take shortcuts that save me half an hour or more.

Well, it didn't catch on in this part of the world... And neither did stuff like marshmellows, cream soda, caramel popcorn, anything with peanut-butter in it...and a bunch of other stuff I probably don't even know exists.
Coke, movies and ketchup are pretty big tho.

I'm starting to become rather uneasy with this one.....what part of the world are you from, ahem?

Now, I could understand if our fast-food hadn't caught on, but stuff like peanut butter? Caramel corn? Why not?
